PATEK PHILIPPE STEEL WATCHES
Patek Philippe was established in 1839, so one houndred seventy years ago have passed from that day to the publication of this volume in which the author, John Goldberger, illustrates what he considers to be the most beautiful examples ever produced in stainless steel by the famous Geneve watch company. One hundred seventy years of life, and one hundred seventy examples, traced back through time thanks to painstaking research, with the collaboration of some of the most renowed collectors in the world, and photographed to show the characteristics of the movement, case and dial of each example in the best possible way. A detailed research to discover the most beatiful and rarest examples of Patek Philippe watches manufactured in this "poor" material: the Steel, this metal has unique properties and sensuous touch that is all its own.A journey in the quintessence of the Patek Philippe spirit, a brand that has probably contributed more than any other to the development of the watch. Over 900 colour illustrations and 400 descriptions provide the collector and watch enthusiast with invaluable information on case reference numbers, dials, movements, related calibers and the year of production of each watch. A book which is one of a kind, a complete collection dedicated to collectors, insiders or simple watch enthusiasts. The book is divided into ten chapters:
